SEIZE (formerly Mate T) is a Polish manufacturer of innovative loose-leaf tea
machines. The device is the result of 3 years of research and development,
conducted entirely in Poland. The company collaborates with major distributors of
gastronomic equipment such as Best Coffee Systems (co-investor) and Lyreco.
One of the recipients of the machines is a chain of petrol stations (the
collaboration is entering the scaling phase). The company currently sells 45
devices per month (reaching the break-even point), and with the opening of new
markets, this number is expected to gradually increase to 2,000 per month by
2027. Seize has also developed tea pods dedicated to the sold machines, which
serve as an additional source of revenue for the company and ensure exclusive
access to raw materials.
